1994-1998 • Trainer at Geac/Interealty Corp.
Responsibilities included: Developing curriculum for proprietary software to include documentation, course design, classroom instruction, and administration. Developing web-based help text for proprietary software. Delivering classroom style and hands-on computer training to both internal and external customers. Assisting with technical support at regional call center.

1999-2000 • Training Coordinator at Computer Learning Centers, Inc.
Responsibilities included: Managing the Faculty Training Center in Alexandria, VA. Supervising local and regional workshops for Instructor Technical Training Developing workshops and schedule catalogs. Developing and managing workshop continuing education unit credits database in Microsoft Access. Assisting managing curriculum development and redesign.

2000-2005 • Instructional Designer at �°������ϲ�app Co., Inc.
Responsibilities included: Developing, programming, managing, and maintaining web-based training courses for proprietary software and other divisions. Assisting with the development of �°������ϲ�app’s Virtual Campus and managed courses on �°������ϲ�app’s Classroom and Learning Management System (LMS). Working with subject matter experts to develop curricula. Providing subject matter expertise, consulting, mentoring, and support for all divisions. Researching new training techniques, methods, and applications to enhance the training programs.

2005-Present • Senior Instructional Designer at �°������ϲ�app Co., Inc.
Responsibilities include: Developing, programming, managing, and maintaining web-based training courses for proprietary software and other divisions. Assisting with the development of �°������ϲ�app’s Virtual Campus and managed courses on �°������ϲ�app’s Classroom and Learning Management System (LMS). Providing learning support for special contracts with LMS vendors such as Taleo, Skillsoft, Brainstorm, and Saba. Working with subject matter experts to develop curricula. Providing subject matter expertise, consulting, mentoring, and support for all divisions. Developing, programming, managing, and maintaining various SharePoint 2007, SharePoint 2013, MS Team sites for internal departments and groups. Providing 2nd tier technical support for issues with online courseware, SharePoint security/access problem, SharePoint design and development assistance, web conferencing problems, and Office 365 user concerns.

I had the honor to serve on the first Diversity Advisory Council for �°������ϲ�app. The purpose of the council is to consult and discuss �°������ϲ�app’s Inclusion, Diversity & Equity efforts. We explore and discuss insights around our culture, company initiatives, progress and outcomes.

Each year �°������ϲ�app’s McLean location hosts a holiday Giving Tree to collect donations of wish items from local charities. I manage, setup and drop off hundreds of gifts donated on behalf of �°������ϲ�app.

Some of my everyday tasks include providing technical support for my team. I also spend time created knowledge articles in Service Desk.

My main responsibility is instructional design. I created self-paced training in the form of a full interactive class or micro learning videos for �°������ϲ�app.

Teamwork. I believe that all employees are part of “One �°������ϲ�app”. We all work for a common goal which is making �°������ϲ�app the best. I am a strong teammate and supporter. I help with ideas of how the team can work smarter to get our job done and am the first to lend a hand. I believe in communicating.

As an instructional designer I feel it is natural for me to be passionate about my work both personally and professionally. I enjoy creating something whether it a craft item or a class. The management team �°������ϲ�app has always been open to my suggestions and recommendation. I am encouraged to do my best and allow me to grow.

I enjoy diving into my creative world.

I was told in my interview that the team I’m joining is newly created. Our goal was to bring online learning and collaboration to �°������ϲ�app. After launch the team won �°������ϲ�app’s Innovator Drive for Excellence Award for the Virtual Campus. The home grown system was replaced with the Hub in 2019.
